‘Kill Boro’ tells the harrowing story of Elijah, a young boy burdened by his father, Boro’s relentless brutality.
Driven by desperation in the unforgiving streets of Azuama, Elijah seeks an unthinkable solution from a notorious gang leader.
The movie explores the complexities of family, survival, the consequences of choices, and the enduring possibility of redemption.
The film featured actors such as Ini Dima-Okojie, Philip Asaya, Greg ‘Teddy Bear’ Ojefua, Brutus Richard, Michael Dappa, Blessing Uzero, Kosisochukwu Ogboruche, Beloved Osagie, Hilda Dokubo and Yibo Koko.
Asaya, who played Boro, spoke about how he was able to interpret the role and the challenges he faced.
“For my character after reading the script, I felt that this was a man who was broken and who is in a way passing through life just like everybody else and trying to overcome those challenges,” he said.
“I did not face many challenges but it was hard trying to be angry most of the time. Because the character of Boro was a total mess all the time.”
