Abayomi Fashina, the vice-chancellor of Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), has visited Damilola Adeparusi, the chef chasing a world cooking record of 120-hour.
Adeparusi announced this via her Twitter page on Tuesday.
“The vce-chancellor, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Professor Abayomi Fashina Sunday came around with many respected dignitaries of the University to say hi to Chef Dammy and the team,” the post reads.
Adeparusi commenced her cooking marathon on June 9 and has become a viral sensation since then.
Her attempt comes weeks after Hilda Baci pulled off a record cooking marathon of 93 hours and 11 minutes.
The Guinness World Records (GWR) earlier certified Baci as holder of the record for longest cooking marathon by an individual.
