It was a grand parade of culture, royalty, and style as public figures graced the 2025 Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu Ode.
Some include Farooq Oreagba, Femi Branch, and Lateef Adedimeji.
Ojude Oba, which means the king’s forecourt, is an iconic annual festival of the Ijebu community in Ogun state.
The festival is renowned for its flamboyant display of tradition, pageantry, and ancestral pride.
At this year’s event on June 7, Oreagba returned as ‘Mr Steeze’ in a regal aso-oke ensemble.
His brown agbada and sokoto were styled with silver jewellery and a bold lion-head sceptre.
Femi Branch’s traditional attire took on a modern silhouette, featuring exaggerated trousers and coral beads on his neck and wrists.
Lateef Adedimeji stepped out in a rich brown agbada adorned with fur, flowing tassels, long beads, and a Yoruba hunter-inspired cap.
The women, equally radiant, dazzled in colourful outfits and elaborate head ties.
Media personality Tomike Adeoye wore an emerald green velvet outfit, elegantly styled with shimmering gold accessories.
