A service of songs for Rachel Oniga, the late veteran Nollywood actress, was held at the Catholic Church of Resurrection in Magodo, Lagos state on Thursday.
Oniga breathed her last late July after battling a heart-related disease
The event, which started by 4:30 pm, marked the second day of the burial activities lined up for the late actress.
The funeral ceremony had commenced on August 23 with a symposium organised by a coalition of non-governmental organisations and friends of the deceased.
Oniga would be finally laid to rest on Friday at a yet-to-be-identified cemetery.
The service of songs was graced by family members and friends of the deceased including Desmond Elliot, the actor-turned-politician.
