Asa Asika, the Nigerian talent manager, and Leona Adesanya, his fiancée, have tied the knot.
The lovebirds officially tied the knot in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony held in Lagos on Saturday.
They exchanged vows in an intimate yet star-studded event attended by close friends, family, and top celebrities.
Asika, known for managing Afrobeats superstar Davido, dazzled in two stylish outfits — first stepping out in a rich wine-colored Igbo traditional attire before switching to a deep navy agbada paired with a matching cap and coral beads.
Leona, on the other hand, looked breathtaking in a turquoise lace and satin ensemble, complete with a matching headpiece, sparkling necklace, and elegant earrings.
Davido, one of Asika’s biggest clients, stood proudly as part of the groom’s entourage, adding to the glamour of the occasion.
The talent manager proposed to Leona in September 2024. The couple also released their pre-wedding photographs on Thursday.
Asika has made a significant impact on the Nigerian music scene.
In 2016, Asika founded The Plug, a talent management company. He has managed artistes such as Davido, Naeto C, YQ, and R2Bees.
The company expanded in 2022 through a merger with TopBoy Entertainment, founded by Tobi Mohammed.
He has received multiple recognitions, including the City People’s Artiste Manager of the Year award in 2018.
