Peter Okoye, Nigerian singer better known as Mr P, has taken to social media platforms to celebrate Lola Omotayo-Okoye, his wife, on the occasion of her birthday.
The 39-year-old took to his Instagram page on Thursday to describe Lola, who is said to be 47, as a “wonderful” woman who keeps touching the lives of people on daily basis.
The singer also accompanied the post with a couple of beautiful pictures of his wife and children.
“To my dear Wife, happy birthday. I want to take this opportunity to remind you how wonderful you are, not only to me but to all the people whose lives you touched every day,” he wrote.

In 2013, Peter tied the knot with Lola, his longtime girlfriend, whom he was said to have dated for seven years. The union has been blessed with two children.
The singer had earlier stated that he had nothing when he met his wife.
It was rumoured in some quarters that Peter’s mother had opposed his marriage to Lola before she breathed her last.
The rumours also claimed that Peter’s marriage to Lola led to the collapse of Psquare, the now-defunct music group, which he started with Paul Okoye, his twin brother.
Paul appeared to have given credence to the claims last year when he accused Lola of being manipulative during a social media face-off on the occasion of the twins’ 39th birthday.
