In a Twitter post on Sunday, Peruzzi said the outcome of this year’s general elections might be unpleasant.

He also urged fans to vote for the right candidate.

“Make Una No Go Vote Person Wey Go Ban Music. You Know Say These Niggas Crazy 😂”

It, however, remains to be seen which candidate the singer was making reference to in his tweet.

The general elections will hold on February 25.

The leading presidential candidates are Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).

Several figures in the entertainment industry, as well as brand influencers, have been vocal about their preferred candidates.

Some of them, however, remain on the fence while also using their platforms to sensitise the citizens on the need to get their permanent voters card (PVC).

In June 2022, the ‘Majesty’ crooner joined celebrities to admonish Nigerians to get their PVCs and vote for whoever they want.

“Still On Still. Get Your PVC. Vote Whoever TF You Want,” he wrote.

Peruzzi started to gain popularity after he joined Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in November 2017.

He has since then established himself as a household name in the music industry.

He has also collaborated with a number of renowned individuals in the country’s music scene.
