Obi Cubana, Oba Elegushi, Otedola… people who donated for Davido’s N100m Roll Royce

Prominent personalities, musicians, and other citizens have been contributing millions to facilitate the clearance of Davido’s Rolls Royce vehicle at the ports.

The singer had taken to his Twitter page on Wednesday to solicit funds from his followers and fellow celebrities for the vehicle clearance.

With a target of N100 million, the ‘OBO’ crooner was able to fundraise over N114 million in six hours.

The funds have since accumulated to over N120 million with more still trickling in.

In a string of posts on his Instagram story, Davido shared evidence of payments.

Oba Saheed Adenuga Elegushi contributed the highest amount of money to the cause, giving Davido N5 million, while Travelbeta and Baba Ali donated N2 million and N1.5 million respectively.

MC Galaxy sent in N3 million while Chike, Nengi Hampson, Adekunle Gold, Peruzzi, Teni, Naira Marley, MI, Ubi Franklin, Syndey Talker, Eniola Badmus, Charles of Play, Obi Cubana, and Phyno contributed N1 million each.

Others who donated N1 million each include Focalistic, Rema, Ckay, Toke Makinwa, Larry Gaga, Tunde Ednut, Pasuma, Cubana Chief Priest, Munch iT, and Bella Shmurda.

The figures donated by Akin Alabi, Patoranking, Femi Otedola, Dorathy Bachor, and Don Jazzy were, however, undisclosed.

In May this year, TheCable Lifestyle had reported how the DMW boss star acquired a brand new 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan.

It remains to be seen if that is the vehicle the singer is fundraising for its clearance from the ports.

It is believed that the 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan is worth $330,000 (an estimated N136,125,000).
