Paul Okoye, the Nigerian singer, has taken a swipe at trolls who called Ivy Ifeoma, his new lover, “ugly”.
On Sunday, Paul, better known as Rudeboy, made his relationship with Ivy public — a year after he parted ways with Anita Isama.
The ‘Reason With Me’ crooner also disclosed that he and Ivy have been together for a year.
His revelation has continued to elicit a wave of reactions on social media, with many users expressing their different opinions.
Some social media users also aimed a dig at the 41-year-old for ditching his wife for Ivy — who they claimed is “ugly”.
But in a series of posts via his Instagram stories on Thursday, Paul fired back at those trolling his new relationship.
The music star shared pictures of some of his critics and wondered if they are in any way better than his partner.
“Wanna take a moment and appreciate trolls who call people ugly,” he wrote.
In another post, Paul slammed some users who deleted their scathing criticisms after he started posting pictures of his trolls.
“Why y’all deleting comments and going private … I just wan see something,” he wrote.
TheCable Lifestyle had reported how some social media users went as far as digging up Ifeoma’s old posts — two of which were on “sugar daddy” and love for money.
