Oxlade, the Nigerian singer, has offered to gift the woman who carried an empty pot to the protest ground N500,000.
On Thursday, some Nigerians commenced a protest against economic hardship and soaring inflation in various parts of the country.
The protests have been dubbed ‘10 Days of Rage’ with the hashtag #EndBadGovernance.
On the first day of the demonstration, an elderly woman went viral for taking an empty pot along to the protest ground.
The woman was seen protesting along the Kudirat Abiola Way in Ikeja, Lagos.

In a post via X (formerly Twitter), Oxlade shared the viral photo of the woman while requesting a way to reach her. He said he would like to gift her N500,000.
“Someone please help me find this woman, I’ve got N500k for her,” the post reads.
The woman is not the first protester to be offered monetary gifts since the start of the demonstration.
On Friday, some Nigerians raised N1.8 million for Ogwu Benjamin Chijioke, one of the #EndBadGovernance protesters, in Lagos.
Chijoke went viral after crying out about his financial challenges. He said Goodluck Benjamin, his 13-year-old child, is a computer programmer who “requires millions of naira to pay for his tuition”.
The money was then raised to facilitate Benjamin’s study.
