Scheduled for December 16 at the Balmoral Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, this maiden edition promises to redefine the Nigerian live music scene.

Described as the nation’s first full-orchestra concert dedicated to blending these iconic genres, ‘Trench Symphony’ aims to bridge cultural and generational divides.

The event will feature contemporary Afrobeats stars like TML Vibez, Lasmid, Cazulee, T.I Blaze, Rybeena, BhadBoi OML, Dwillsharmony, and Kashcoming.

They will share the stage with legendary Fuji maestros Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika, creating a unique sonic dialogue.

Damilola Akinwunmi, CEO of the Dapper Group, described the event as a redefinition of live music in Nigeria.

“Trench Symphony was created to bridge the gap between the streets and the stage, between culturally rich sounds like Fuji and the vibrant pulse of Afrobeats. This edition continues that journey, celebrating music that unites generations and backgrounds,” he said.

“As Lagos prepares for the festive season, which attracts visitors and diaspora returnees, ‘Trench Symphony’ aims to be a highlight of the celebrations.

“The event promises a memorable night celebrating Nigerian sound, culture, and the spirit of Detty December.”
