Omowunmi Ajiboye, the Nigerian actress, has clarified her relationship with Segun Ogungbe.
Ajiboye and Ogungbe share two children, which has led many to believe they were a couple.
However, in an interview on Oyinmomo TV, Ajiboye clarified that Ogungbe is the father of her child, not her husband.
She added that they were never engaged or married, and he never met any member of her family in that context.
She also appealed to fans to stop attacking her, arguing that she didn’t ruin Ogungbe’s life and that both of them have moved on with different partners.
“We just have kids together, we were never engaged or married. He doesn’t know any of my family member except for my sibling that stays in Lagos,” she said.
“To my fans, I beg you, please take it easy with me. I’m not a bad person, and I didn’t destroy Segun Ogungbe’s life.
“When I was in his life, things were good. And now that I’m not, his life is still going well. So please, let me live and enjoy my life. I have my boyfriend and he has his wife.”
She disclosed that they are on good terms and can still work together, but with certain limits, adding that they have an upcoming cinema film they co-produced.
“I don’t have any issue with him, we can work together at any time, but there is a limit. In fact, we have an upcoming cinema movie we produced together.”
Ajiboye announced her separation from Ogungbe in 2024, accusing him of infidelity and inappropriate behaviour with her trainees.
