Omashola: Mercy Eke offered me her home, car to use during my wedding

Omashola Oburoh, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-Stars house guest, has revealed how Mercy Eke offered her home and car to use during his wedding.

The reality TV star joined the All Stars housemates as Big Brother’s guest on August 21.

On Monday, Omashola won the head of house (HoH) game, allowing him to choose four housemates as his BFFs (friends for the week).

The reality TV star selected Mercy, Cee-C, White Money, and Ilebaye — a development that left tongues wagging in the house; owing to the fact that Mercy enjoyed similar privileges the previous week.

During a diary session with Big Brother on Thursday, Omashola explained why he chose Mercy.

He said when he told the housemates about his wedding in December, Mercy offered him her four-bedroom apartment in Lekki and a car without him requesting it.

He added that he was moved by her act of kindness and said she deserves “raw gold”.

“When I came into this house, we had a round table peace talk and I told them I am getting married on December 23, Mercy did something that surprised me,” he said.

“Mercy took me to the garden and said ‘Omashola I know you have not been around for a while, you are going to come back from South Africa and you will probably bring family and friends from overseas, they will need a place to stay.

“She told me ‘I have a four-bedroom apartment in Lekki and a car I might not be using. If you need it, I can give it to you. So, when your people come, they will have a place to stay and a car to move around.

“I did not ask her for it nor did I beg her. That girl deserves gold! That thing touched my heart.”
