Ifeluv, his fiancee, had accused him of infidelity and financial irresponsibility, claiming he failed to fulfill his promises after their engagement.

But in a cryptic Instagram post on Monday,  the content creator implied that wealth usually attracts admiration, but once it disappears, the respect and recognition that comes with it fade away.

He said people who once showed appreciation can easily switch to questioning one’s significance when fortunes change.

“When a man has wealth, he’s often revered like royalty; but when same wealth fades, respect quickly vanishes,” he wrote.

“The same people that used to say “Thanks for everything, you are the best”….they change their tone to “what have you ever done for me? Who you be sef?

“It’s a lesson I’ve learned firsthand. May we never become a thing of the past. we keep pushing.”

In another post wherein he shared a song he is working on, the skit maker revealed how people put on a show of sympathy while hiding the truth, noting that the “loudest cries often come with the biggest lies”.

“Hug me close while you dim my light. Tears for the camera, pain for the views. Could you turn off the screen so you could sit in the truth. Loudest cries with the biggest lies,” the song lyrics reads.

However, it remains unclear whether the lyrics are a response to the allegations against him.

Recently, Ifeluv threatened to take legal action against him over “cheating allegations”.
