Olamide Adedeji, Nigerian hip hop singer better known as Olamide, has welcomed a second child with Adebukumi Aisha, his partner, in the United States.
The ‘Woske’ crooner, 30, broke the news on his Instagram handle while expressing his excitement.
He also shared a photo of himself carrying the little child with the caption: “July the 1st Tunrepin Myles Adedeji .”
Olamide had proposed to Adebukumi, his longtime girlfriend, in 2018. Since then, fans have been looking out for the singer to call the marriage shots.
The couple have reportedly been together since 2011. They also had a son named Maximilian Boluwatife in 2015.
Olamide, born in Bariga, Lagos state, has made a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry.
His debut album ‘Rapsodi‘ was released in 2011. The album’s lead track ‘Eni Duro’ pervaded Nigerian radio stations and saw him collaborate with the likes of Wizkid, 9ice, Reminisce, and D’banj.
Ever since, Olamide has been on a rampage of releasing hit tracks and collaborative singles — the recent ones being his ‘Woske’, ‘Oil and Gas’ and ‘Spirit’ — all released in 2019.
Aside from having amassed a hoard of prestigious awards for himself, Olamide’s record label, YBNL Nation, has signed a number of renowned Nigerian singers including Davolee, Lyta and Limerick.
