There are many moving parts in Olamide Adedeji’s video for the controversial hit track ‘Science Student’.
The video features a gripping, richly artistic house of horror and an elaborate dance fest featuring several switches in choreography and not less than 120 dancers.
To open the almost eight minutes long video, Olamide and a few friends find themselves in a dream-like scene, where they run out of petrol, and while still trying to solve the problem, the rapper is lured away by a flashing light.
The light leads him to a female traditional drinks hawker, who in turn, leads him through the house of horror/rehab la extreme, and onwards to the lavish dance party that takes almost three minutes of the video.
Unlimited LA, video director, and Kaffy Shafau, responsible for the creative direction, successfully use the confluence of all the moving parts to create something different.
