Olamide Adedeji, a rapper popularly known as Baddo, has proposed to Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman, his longstanding girlfriend and mother of his son.
The lovebirds have been together since 2011 and have a son Maximiliano Adedeji, born in 2015.
NAN reports that he announced the proposal on Snapchat @baddosneh, some hours after wishing her a ‘happy birthday’ on the same platform.
The YBNL boss made the marriage proposal on the day earmarked for International Women’s Day.
“My senior wife… Oya we have a wedding to plan,” the rapper was quoted to have written on social media.
TheCable Lifestyle was unable to trace the social media post but sources close to the ‘Science Student’ rapper said the engagement is most likely true.
Olamide, who raps mostly in Yoruba, has been described as ‘the voice of the ghetto’.
The Bariga-born artist recently released a seven-minute visual for ‘Science Student’ amidst controversies surrounding the theme of the hit song.
He recently bagged the ‘listeners’ choice’ award at the just concluded SoundCity MVP awards.
Olamide came into limelight in 2011 with his debut album ‘Rapsodi’ before starting his label ‘YBNL’ in 2012.
