Explaining the motive behind his action, the actor said a “voice” instructed him to stand up and go pray for Tinubu at the beach unclad.

He also argued that despite the backlashes he received on social media, he doesn’t regret his action.

Oloyede said the act was a “deliberate” one to support Tinubu and not for financial benefit as widely assumed.

He further said he is optimistic that the APC candidate will be the next president of Nigeria.

“I am not here to tender my explanation, I am not here to tender an apology but I want people to know the reason I did that. I was asked to stand up and go and do it spiritually. I have a gift of revelation by Almighty God,” he said.

“I was sleeping that day and the voice came to me and said ‘please stand up, you said you love Asiwaju and he has been assisting you, I said ‘yes’.

“He said stand up go and do this and this for him. So I said okay but also thought about my immediate family. But I want to tell you I can do anything to support Asiwaju.

“I deliberately recorded and posted it for people to see and not because of money. It was an intentional act and I have no cause to regret it.

“As long as I’m doing something that doesn’t affect any other person I think I have the freedom. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a big fish in my life and I know he is going to be the president very soon.”
