Omoni Oboli’s latest movie, ‘Okafor’s law’ has been selected for Stockholm International Film Festival (SIFF).

The movie, which had a good outing at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), has been nominated in the film competition section of SIFF.

The annual festival which is held in Stockholm, Sweden, presents films with high quality from around the world.

Okafor’s law has been described as Oboli’s most ambitious movie; it stars Richard Mofe-Damijo, Blossom Chukwujekwe, Gabriel Afolayan, Tina Mba, Toyin Aimakhu, Halima Abubakar and a host of other acts.

The romantic comedy centers around a man’s attempt to seduce three women: a churchgoing banker, a workaholic businesswoman and the second wife of a wealthy man.

The production of the movie was reported to have gulped about N40 million.

‘Wives on strike’, Oboli’s last movie reportedly earned N70 million in the cinemas.

Okafor’s Law will start showing in cinemas across Nigeria from April 2017.
