The anti-graft commission had on Monday grilled the 46-year-old nightlife promoter for alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

The development has continued to spark a wave of mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media platforms.

Reacting to the incident via her Instagram page on Tuesday, Ebele described her husband as a hard-working and resilient man, who will come out of this “tumultuous moment unscathed”.

She also pledged her support for the socialite while reminding Cubana that even Jesus faced difficult times.

“He is strong. He is resilient. He is a hardworker. He is a leader and he is a great,” she wrote.

“I call him Nwachinemelu! Okpataozueora worldwide Oji uno eme ogo! A man with a heart of diamond Nwoke ike! Odogwu m!

“We love you and we are solidly behind you. Even Jesus went through something worse than this so no stress. The grace is overwhelming and it’s overflowing. God himself raised you.

“Again, I repeat: Whom God has blessed, no man can curse. Because he’s gonna turn everything around (the good, the bad and the ugly) for your good”.

Ebele’s post comes a few hours after Abba Bichi, son of Yusuf Bichi, the director-general (DG) of the Department of State Services (DSS), described Cubana as “a man of dignity”.

The businessman, whose real name is Obinna Iyiegbu, had earlier narrated how he started dating his wife while he was still living with his friends in a one-bedroom apartment.
