The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) says prospective corps members who registered for the 2017 Batch A stream II orientation course will resume on July 26.
In an updated timetable on its website, NYSC said prospective corps members can begin to print call-up letters on Friday, July 21.
“We informed you in our earlier post that the 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) orientation course has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 to Tuesday, August 15, 2017,” it read.
“All PCMs (prospective corps members) are to proceed to their Orientation camps at the camp addresses indicated in their call-up letters.
“This is to inform prospective corps members of the 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) that the printing of call-up letters will commence in the evening of Friday, July 21, 2017.”
In a separate post on its Facebook page, the scheme shared the highlights of the orientation exercise.
“The 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) orientation course has been scheduled to commence on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 nationwide.
“Highlights of the exercise are as follows:
- Registration/verification: Wednesday July 26 – Thursday, July 27, 2017
- Registration cut-off date: Midnight of July 27, 2017
- Closing ceremony: Tuesday, August 15, 2017
“Meanwhile, all prospective corps members (PCMs) of the 2017 Batch ‘A’ (Stream II) are to advised to watch out for information on the printing of call-up letters shortly.
“PCMs are advised to report promptly to the orientation camps in their states of deployment at the camp addresses indicated in their call-up letters.”
The 2017 Batch A stream 1 concluded June 12, 2017.
