Omoni Oboli, an actress and film director, says women should endeavour to normalise enjoyment while trying to discharge their other societal obligations.

The award-winning actress gave her two cents in a post on her Instagram page on Friday.

Oboli said it is unfortunate that most women have become used to working towards making others happy at the detriment of their own selves.

The movie star said it is about time women cultivated the habit of taking good care of themselves like they do for others.

Oboli added that women should ditch the mindset that they are only meant to work hard and pay pills with little or no attention to their own needs.

“Dear woman…it’s important you take care of yourself. Most of us work very hard, taking care of everyone else. See learn to treat yourself from time to time. Go on a trip, pamper yourself at the spa, buy something that makes you happy!” she wrote.

Go on a trip, pamper yourself at the spa, buy something that makes you happy! Normalize luxury and enjoyment. We didn’t come to this life just to work and pay bills. Only the best is good enough for me! 👌🏽#PovertyIsInTheMind #WealthyMindset #RichBabe 👑
