Muyideen Oladapo, the Nigerian actor better known as Lala, has graduated with a second degree from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

In an Instagram post on Thursday, the actor posted pictures from his convocation ceremony with a heartfelt caption.

Lala revealed that he had always had the “burning passion” of attaining great academic heights right from a tender age.

The actor, who is prominent in the Yoruba movie industry, also expressed gratitude to God for helping him to achieve his dreams despite various distractions and engagements.

“I am sincerely grateful to the Almighty for this rare privilege. I have always had a burning passion for attaining greater height in education from my tender age. I thank God I achieved the dream despite fame and other engagements”, he wrote.

“This is a stepping stone for me to greater achievements because I am not relenting because I want to attain the highest level of education. I am grateful to God for the success of my second-degree education.”

“It took me concerted effort in achieving this because there were lots of distractions, but I bless Allah that it eventually became a success.”

The Yoruba actor bagged his first degree from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.

He started his acting career in the early 2000s and has featured in hundreds of movies since then.
