Nikki Laoye and Soul Snatcha, the Nigerian gospel singers, have welcomed their first child together.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Laoye shared photos from their maternity shoot. She announced that their baby girl was born on their third wedding anniversary.
She described the birth of her daughter as a divine plan orchestrated by God.
She also celebrated their anniversary, reflecting on their journey as a testament to God’s faithfulness.
Laoye added that their home would always be a symbol of God’s promises, reaffirming the prophecy from their wedding about their “season of re-emergence”.
“Look at God Our Princess arrived on our 3rd year wedding anniversary. Only God could have planned this,” she wrote.
“Yes o, #GodDonDoAmAgain. A perfect display of God’s love, goodness and mercy towards us. One we can never forget.
“Happy 3rd anniversary to us baby @soulsnatcha. We have always said that our wedding days are blessed. We can’t thank you enough, oh God.
“Can’t believe I just had a baby still as strong as ever. Who is like the Lord indeed. Nobody!! We are in awe, I am in great health.
“Thank you Jesus for giving us more amazing days of love, laughter, joy and great peace. Thank you for giving us beauty for ashes, for giving us a second chance of a lifetime..the #Remix OfALifetime
“Our love and our home will forever be a beacon of God’s unexplainable mercy, the reassurance of His love and His promise of New beginnings.
“Just like Pastor @officialpastorchingtok said at our wedding: “This is our season of re-emergence — The word God spoke over our lives is still alive & it is moving.”

The lovebirds tied the knot in March 2022, just a few months after getting engaged in November 2021.
Laoye was previously married to Alex Oturu, while Snatcha was married to Abimbola.
Snatcha, however, lost his wife to a long-term illness in 2019. They had four children together.
