A video in which Israel Oladele Ogundipe, pastor of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Genesis Global, was seen dishing out a sermon on the duration of “meaningful” sex, has sparked reactions on social media.
According to him, “meaningful sex should not be more than five minutes”.
In the undated video clip, the cleric, who delivered his two cents on sex in English and Yoruba, went on to say that any man who stays on top of a woman for 30 minutes is nothing “but a mad man”.
“Change your mind, can I tell you one thing? Sex that is over five minutes is no more sex. Meaningful sex should not be more than five minutes,” he said.
“Every responsible woman and man who aspires to be great in future and realises there is a long way to go to achieve it won’t take pride in engaging in a sex romp for over thirty minutes. If you do, you are a mad man! Your peers count N30 million in thirty minutes”.
The statement has since sparked a plethora of reactions on social media platforms especially Twitter, where users have been expressing their opinions.
Here are some reactions:
Your wife will soon run and leave. Look at the faces of the women just staring at him. Like what is this one saying.

No No No No aaand No. This is very wrong. I really hate when preachers use their position to ingrain into people’s mind their view about life. Preach the word of God. Not your personal experience.

He’s a one minute man, so he’s just finding justification for his situation.

This man is a Mad Man!
How does this even make sense. It means that people fuel their cars, transport themselves to church & waste hours sitting there achieving nothing financial & still donate or give money to “god of man” who keeps collecting…is it easy making babies? 🤷🏽♂️🙄🤔— Demikhay🔥 (@infonaija_247) November 18, 2019

I think @MBuhari should create the Ministry for Religon Affairs to license and control unwholesome preachers and churches in Nigeria. Teachings like these destroy marriages. Using the pulpit as a frontier to spill words that are not conformed with the bible. SMH. pic.twitter.com/UMFYXxvRoQ

Please, can he clarify how this is part of the Good News of the Christian faith? He’d be better off selling foreign and local/traditional libido enhancing solutions… He seems to have the marketing pitch locked down
