Faith Afiemo and Itohan Agbator became the seventh and eighth contestants to be evicted from the seventh season of Nigerian Idol, the talent hunt reality television show, on Sunday night.

Before her eviction, the 17-year-old Itohan performed ‘Only Girl In The World’ by Rihanna, Omawumi’s ‘If You Ask Me’, Yemi Alade’s ‘Na Gode’, ‘I Look To You’ by Whitney Houston, ‘Can’t Give Up Now’ by Mary Mary, Rihanna’s ‘Unfaithful’ and Bradley Cooper’s ‘Shallow’.

Faith also thrilled the audience with spectacular performances of ‘Charlie’ by Simi, Tiwa Savage’s ‘Koroba’, CKay’s ‘Emiliana’, ‘Next To Me’ by ‘Emile Sande, Chloe and Halle’s ‘Forgive Me’, ‘Always On My Mind’ by Ego and Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Driver’s License’ before she left the reality show.

The night started with the top six contestants giving a wonderful rendition of Bruno Mar’s ‘Uptown Funk’.

Banty kicked off the individual performances with Asa’s ‘Bibanke’, while Zadok gave a powerful rendition of ‘The Vow’ by Timi Dakolo.

Jordan electrified the stage with Fireboy’s ‘Airplane Mode’ just as Progress showcased his vocal dexterity with Johnny Drille’s ‘Wait For Me’.
