‘Sweet Revenge’ is now among the 10 films vying for the win.

Speaking with TheCable Lifestyle, Atuma said, “it is a privilege for the mainstream A class players to actually see your work and like it.”

“This is the dream, to play at this level where you make one film and it is accepted globally. I’m very happy,” he continued.

“When I received the challenge to come up with a story, I prayed and started writing.

“I wanted a multicultural story that will be funny based on situations and close to the immigrant experience. I wanted a universal story.

“My itch to make world-class movies that will be funny and at the same educative of different cultures and people inspired me.”
