Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, the celebrity couple, have welcomed their first child together via surrogate.
Surrogacy is a type of pregnancy in which a woman carries and gives birth to a baby for a person who is not able to have children.
The super celebrities announced the arrival of the child on Friday in a statement via their separate Instagram pages.
They, however, didn’t disclose the baby’s name, sex, birthday, or additional details.
“We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate,” the statement read.
“We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
The baby’s arrival is a major milestone for the couple after years of marriage.
Priyanka and Nick became engaged during the summer of 2018 and tied the knot on December 1, same year.
