The latest invention in the sex toy industry is an equipment that aims to help men boast of maintaining an erection for 12 hours.
According to Mirror UK, the device, which is called Stays Hard, will be available in 2018.
Stays Hard, which would be sold at £40, is designed to help men overcome erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.
According to developers, Stays Hard holds the penis to maintain a ‘solid’ erection (even after orgasm), allowing users to last for up to 12 hours in bed.
It can only be worn for 20 minutes at a time and is safe to use with condoms.
It took five years of research and joint efforts of urologists and Peter Ford, a professor at De Montfort University in Leicester, to make the device.
It will be made available by the British National Health Service although the manufacturers are making efforts to distribute commercially to Australia, South Africa, Canada and the Middle East.
Richard Wylie, managing director of Tyna International, the manufacturers of Stays Hard, said the device will bring hope to men who crave prolonged intimacy without the use of pills or surgery.
He said: “Erectile dysfunction is a nightmare situation. When a man loses potency, it’s like he loses his life.
“Many men decide not to do anything about it. They don’t want to talk about it and their wives or partners think it’s their fault.
“If untreated, it can lead to the break-up of marriages and relationships. Stays Hard has been created for all the millions of guys out there who have got problems. It was patented with them in mind.”
