Rebecca Nengi Hampson has taken to social media to express her disappointment over how some of her fans “constantly disrespect” her brand, friends, and team.

In a Twitter post on Monday, the 2020 BBNaija reality TV star complained about those she said are shooting down her brand. She also pointed out that she has been quiet about those spewing harsh words on her team and family.

Stressing the importance of her personal brand, Nengi said the “constant disrespect” is unacceptable. She also asked fantasy-driven die-hard fans to “un-stan” her if her personal image isn’t enough for them.

“My brand is important to me and a good name is better than riches,” the reality star wrote.

“I have been quiet on a lot of things but this constant disrespect is unacceptable! Please, stop pulling down my friends, my brand, and my team. I understand it’s part of ‘what I signed up for’.

“However, it is mean to subject my family and friends to the same vitriol as they didn’t sign up for this. If you also love me because of your fantasies, unstan me. I am Nengi, I am a brand and I should be enough for you.”

Nengi did not shed much light on what informed her outburst but her tweets got fans talking on social media.

“Everyone is involved: those attaching her to man, those insulting her friends on Live, those insulting her family members over nothing. You all respect yourselves ’cause, to me, #NengiIsEnough,” a Twitter user wrote.

Another added: “Now I know this girl has sense, this is something that all of them should do, it’s very important to call your fans to order when they are overreaching. It is so important”
