Nelly, the US rapper, has apologised after a video of him receiving oral sex surfaced on Instagram.
On Tuesday, the ‘Hot In Herre’ lyricist attracted attention on Twitter after his Instagram story briefly put out a video of a woman performing oral sex.
Although the sex tape was quickly deleted, it had generated mixed reactions from fans across social media platforms.
According to TMZ, Nelly has apologised over the issue, saying the “old clip” was never meant to see the light of day.
“I sincerely apologize to the young lady and her family, this is unwanted publicity for her/them. This was an old video that was private and never meant to go public,” the rapper was quoted to have said.
Questioned on how the video ended up getting on his Instagram account, Nelly’s team was quoted as saying they are “investigating a breach” and are concerned that more of Nelly’s private content may also end up online.
They said it includes financial information, personal documents, and passwords.
The development comes at about the same time when a sex tape leak involving Oxlade, the Nigerian singer, generated mixed reactions on social media.
A few weeks ago, TheCable Lifestyle had reported how Tiwa Savage was at the centre of heated criticism over a Snapchat leak of her sex tape.
