Adenuga said since the initiative began in 2006 it has raised and disbursed over N75 million to 34 charity organisations across the country.

He then added that Green Worship seeks to match the figure this year.

“We want to raise N75 million this year. That’s our goal and it’s free to dream. We are mindful of where we are coming from and that’s why we’ve included additional strategies this year,” the Worship For Changer founder said.

“We are not focusing on the event alone. We are looking at how we can raise funds all month long.”

Founders of two of the beneficiaries who were in attendance at the Press Conference praised the efforts of Worship for Change, noting that its intervention remains the biggest of such support they have received over the years.
