Abisi Emmanuel, the Nigerian skit maker better known as Nasty Blaq, and his partner Esther James have welcomed their first child together.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the couple shared photos showcasing funny moments with their baby girl.

They also revealed the newborn’s name as Maia Ngozi Abisi while expressing their profound love for her.

“Welcome into the world baby Maia Ngozi Abisi. We live you till the end of time,” the post reads.

Celebrities and fans have taken to the comment section to congratulate the lovebirds on the new addition to their family.

The baby girl is believed to be named after the skit maker’s mother who passed away in September 2024 at age 56.

The cause and date of death were, however, not revealed.

Nasty Blaq disclosed that she was buried on January 22, 2025, while sharing photos from the burial event.

“Goodbye Dear Mother, Ngozi Ndirika Abisi ( 1968 – 2024),” he wrote.

Nasty Blaq gained prominence in 2018 for his humorous videos on social media platforms.

In February last year, the comedian revealed he battled with an undisclosed illness.

Although he did not disclose the details of his illness, he asked his supporters to pray for him, adding that he “could not fight it anymore”.
