Basketmouth, the comedian, has declined to comment on the recent claim by AY Makun, his colleague, on their years-long feud.
The ace comedians have been in the news for a while over their lingering feud.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, the media personality, AY said their 17-year-old feud started over N30,000 debt.
On Saturday, a video wherein Basketmouth appeared to be addressing the issue surfaced online.
In the clip, the comedian was seen performing at an event when his audience asked him to tell his own side of the story.
“Them say na N30k,” some members of the audience were heard saying in reference to AY’s claim.
But responding, Basketmouth said he would rather keep mum to avoid dragging the matter further.
“The thing is, to be honest, I would have loved to talk about it, but some people will record it. Then it will leak and they will say that I have responded,” he said.
“To be honest, I don’t want that guy to ever hear from me.”

Although he did not mention AY’s name in the clip, the context of the conversation showed his remark was on his feud with the latter.
In August 2021, Basketmouth argued that he fell out with AY because the comedian “messed with loyalty”.
During an interactive session with fans on Instagram in 2022, AY said Basketmouth has a superiority complex.
