Seyi gave the assurance during a video chat with Kehinde Adams, the actor fondly called Lege Miami.

He appreciated Lege Miami for the faith he has in the president despite the economic situation of the country.

He also urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and give Tinubu time to fulfill his promises.

“Lege Miami, I want to thank you so much for everything you do. I want to say thank you for the faith you have in our president,” he said.

“And I guarantee you President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not fail Nigeria.

“The hope that we have been looking and hoping for is here. The president that we have all wanted is here, I guarantee you, my brother.”

On July 17, the consumer price index (CPI), which measures the rate of change in prices of goods and services, rose to 22.79 per cent in June 2023, up from 22.41 per cent in the previous month.

Oil marketers in Nigeria increased the pump price of petrol at retail outlets to N617 per litre in Abuja and N565 per litre in Lagos on July 18.

The hike in food and petrol prices has since sparked a wave of negative reactions among Nigerians.

Seyi’s comment comes at about the same time when Eniola Badmus described Tinubu as a “great philanthropist and a cheerful giver”.

Badmus said she will continue to “stand by Tinubu” because “I believe so much in him”.
