Chioma Jasmine Okafor, daughter of Mr Ibu, the Nollywood actor, has ended her nine-month-old marriage to her husband who she met on TikTok.
The brand influencer broke the news in a post via her Instagram page on Monday.
Jasmine recently narrated how she met her US-based lover, simply identified as MD, on TikTok.
In the post, the lawyer said MD flew down from the United States to Africa two months after they met on TikTok and proposed to her four days after.
The entrepreneur said they would later tie the knot 24 days after his proposal.
Jasmine also revealed that she is pregnant, adding that “we’re expecting our twin girls”.
But in the update on her Instagram page, Jasmine said she is ending the marriage because she can not stand a “tiny lie”.
The fashionista said MD did not inform her that he was previously divorced and has three grown up girls.
“This was the best 9 months of my life! I have no regrets whatsoever! I just won’t settle for a lie regardless! I forgive easily, I remember asking you about this severally before we started! Finding out today from your mum, really broke me!” she wrote.
“A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! But hate how you never mentioned your divorce nor kids to me! Moving on I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance!”
