On Friday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) branch in Lagos said it had taken over the investigation of the actress for allegedly tampering with the redesigned naira notes.

The EFCC also vowed that “the suspect will be charged to court once investigations have been concluded.”

Azuka Ogugua, the ICPC spokesperson, had said the serial entrepreneur colluded with “key elements” in the financial sector to divert the new notes and sell them in the black market.

DAVIDO TO RETURN IN MARCH WITH NEW ALBUM

Israel ‘DMW’ Afeare, Davido’s logistics manager, hinted that the singer’s new album will be released in March.

He also asked Davdo’s fans to anticipate the song which he described as a “banger”.

Israel DMW is one of the closest associates of the music star.

Davido has been sparsely seen on social media since the shocking death of Ifeanyi, his three-year-old son.

Ifeanyi’s death on October 30 led to Davido and Chioma Rowland’s break from social media for weeks.

They were not seen in public until the singer shared loved-up photos with Chioma before his performance at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World on December 18.
