In a tweet on Friday, the media personality and model said he has directed his lawyers to write the company over the unauthorised commercialisation.

“I have directed my lawyers to write the management of @vconnectnigeria for commercialising my images and using same in sponsored Facebook adverts without my authorisation,” he wrote.

Sequel to Mr Fix Nigeria’s tweet, VConnect issued an acknowledgment of the said infringement and disclosed that it had reprimanded the agency responsible for using Ohimai’s images in the adverts.

“Hi Ohimai, we acknowledge your complaint and also stand against copyright infringement. This set of ads were taken down and we have taken strict actions against the agency involved,” VConnect tweeted.
