Mastercard recently released its annual Global Destination Cities Index (GDCI), ranking the most visited cities in the world.
The 132 most visited cities, has Asian countries topping the list.
Now in its seventh year, the GDCI has transcended the race to the number one ranking.

London, England with 19.88million international visitors
Paris, France with 18.03million international visitors
Dubai, the United Arab Emirates with 15-27million international visitors
New York City, the USA with 12.75million international visitors
Singapore with 12.11 international visitors
Kuala, Lumpur, Malaysia with 12.02million international visitors
Istanbul, Turkey with 11.95million international visitors
Tokyo, Japan with 11.70million international visitors
Seoul, South Korea with 10.20 million international visitors
Hong Kong, China with 8.37million international visitors
Barcelona, Spain with 8.20million international visitors
Amsterdam, Netherlands with 8million international visitors
Milan, Italy with 7.65million international visitors
Taipei, Taiwan with 7.5million international visitors
Rome, Italy with 7.12million international visitors
Osaka, Japan with 7.02million international visitors
