The rapper also expressed delight at being associated with 2baba, an iconic singer whose music career has spanned almost two decades.

During a media parley held on Wednesday in preparation for the upcoming Buckwyld n Breathless concert,  the Chocolate City president asserted that the association means a lot to his career and standing.

“When you think of Nigerian music 100 years from now, there are a few names you will have to mention. And by now we can all agree it’s them and I think that one person that we’re sure of from our generation, I think there are many many amazing musicians. But the person that we’re sure of, even if he never says one more thing or makes another song that has to be in the top three of all time is 2face Idibia.”

“And just to be associated with him – sometimes I go to my Wikipedia page, cause they say associated acts, they say 2face. I just look at it and I’m happy. Just to be associated with him.”

He went on to speak of how 2baba’s involvement in the upcoming concert is a major asset to the brand.

“But not just him, the pedigree that he carries with the Buckwyld n Breathless brand, it’s his amazing mind and what he’s willing to do with the shows. But I think the first show really set the bar for every other Nigerian musician in terms of how they want to perform on stage.”

M.I Abaga shared the high table with 2baba, Sound Sultan, Vector, and others on the Buckwyld n Breathless team.

He also praised Vector, a fellow rapper, for being among the best in the game.

“And then to be with maybe the most skilled rapper that we’ve had in our time, Vector tha Viper here on stage”, M.I added.
