I forgave you when you became a mother, Mercy Johnson replies Tonto Dikeh

Mercy Johnson, Nollywood actress, says she has forgiven her colleague, Tonto Dikeh, for calling her child a “witch” several years ago.

Dikeh had early on Friday issued an apology on Instagram, saying she deeply regrets her comments and asked for Johnson’s forgiveness.

She said motherhood and her newfound relationship with God moved her to seek forgiveness.

In response, Johnson said she forgave Dikeh when she became a mother and noted that she prayed for her “last night”.

Johnson, like Dikeh, also took to Instagram to post her response.

“I’m shaking and in tears as I read your post. I have learnt the more this morning that the holy spirit is true, cus by him you were in my prayers last night and this morning. I’m in shock. I always heard of what an Angel you are.

“Please, I forgave you immediately King came because I knew that u would have understood how it hurt me.

“I love you and I am short of words now but thank you and trust me I wish so much happiness and peace. I’m already hugging you so tightly. It is well and Purity is blowing you a kiss too.

“My God will bless you and keep you ahead always,” Johnson wrote.
