Mercy Johnson-Okojie, a Nollywood practitioner, and Sisi Yemmie, a YouTuber, have been announced as some the participants to enlighten people on the use of social media at the third edition of the Handle It Africa conference.

The conference, which is the brainchild of Olufemi Oguntamu, is designed as a platform to help brands and individuals harness the benefits of social media.

Themed ‘Social Media: Extending the Frontiers ‘, the conference will highlight the best ways to maximize the benefits of social media and solve attendant problems that arise from its use.

Other speakers scheduled for the event include Tobi Bakre, former BBNaija housemate; Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, founder of Rise Networks; MC Lively, comedian; Akah Nnani, am actor and YouTuber; Omowunmi ‘Mimi’ Onalaja, TV presenter; Timini Egbuson, Nollywood actor, amongst others.

Oguntamu is a social media professional and founder of Penzaarville Africa.

In addition to the thought-provoking panel sessions and enlightening conversations at the conference, there will be opportunities for participants to meet and network with young, successful change-makers with a view to promoting collaboration and building partnerships.

‘Handle It Africa’ is scheduled to hold on May 17 at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
