Aigbe says she suffered domestic abuse from Gentry for several years.

“Lanre you forget quickly, you forget how I have labored and stood by you all these years, even tho all what I was getting from you was constant beating, harassment, threat to my life and threat to destroying my image if I dare leave you,” she had said.

Although her estranged husband had denied laying a hand on her, Aigbe shared a brain scan report showing that she suffered multiple fractures.

The brain scan report was obtained from St. Solomon Health Care Limited, Lagos.

In the same vein, she took to Instagram on Thursday to announce her visit to an oral and maxilloficial surgeon in the United Kingdom.

She said no woman should have to endure the physical abuse and its accompanying trauma she suffered – for the sake of marriage.

“In the UK 🇬🇧 to see an Oral and Maxilloficial Surgeon…. No woman should go through these much pain, anguish and trauma all in the name of marriage,” she wrote.

Since her marriage hit a stormy patch as a result of alleged physical abuse, Aigbe has been increasingly vocal in her condemnation of domestic violence.

The police charged Gentry with three counts of breach of public peace, assault and causing grievous bodily harm on his wife. He pleaded not guilty.

His case is up for hearing on July 12.
