Rexxie, the Grammy-winning record producer, has teamed up with Wizkid for the remix of his hit track ‘Abracadabra’.
The less than two-minute project sees the ‘Essence’ crooner delivering the captivating intro before Skiibii and Naira Marley take over from him.
“Fine girls for my bed, and you no say oil dey my head | Ten girls for my bed, all of them naked, undressed | Who you know dey ball like this | Who you know wey dey spend like this,” Wizkid croons in the first thirty seconds of the song.
The original song, with just Skiibii and Naira Marley, had been released on October 17, 2022.
‘Abracadabra’ had initially endured a slow start before it started to gain popularity on the airwaves.
It also took nearly three months before the song made its debut on TheCable Lifestyle radio picks.
The acceptance of the hit track further establishes Rexxie as one of the best music producers in the nation’s music industry.
Rexxie, born Ezeh Chisom Faith, is renowned for creating the Zanku sound as well as producing Naira Marley’s ‘Soapy’ and ‘Tesumole’.
He became a Grammy-winning producer after ‘Twice As Tall’ by Burna Boy won the ‘Global Music Album’ category in 2021.
In 2022, he was recognised for his contribution to Angelique Kidjo’s song, ‘Do Yourself’, off her album ‘Mother Nature’ which won the ‘Best Global Music Album’ at the 64th edition of the Grammy Awards.
