Liquorose and Adunni Ade were in attendance at the oratory event of the Lagos State University Debate Society (LSUDS).
Several public figures and entertainment personalities were present at the annual event tagged ‘Listen: I Have A Story’.
The LASU Debate Society is the official student body for public speaking at the Lagos State University (LASU).
The 2023 edition was held on January 11 at the Burba Marwa Hall, the main auditorium at LASU.
The event featured high-profile influencers across various fields, who spoke on their journey from obscurity to the top while addressing an audience of about 25,000 students.
Among the invited speakers were Sodia Ayomide, a Youtuber and a content creator; Adedeji Oyenuga, associate professor at the LASU Department of Sociology; and Liquorose, an ex-housemate of the BBNaija reality TV show.
Others are Tolulope Olalere, a makeup specialist; Philip Babalola, a real estate consultant; and Adunni Ade, an actress.
Ibilola Olatunji, the LASU vice-chancellor, was represented by the student affairs dean.
The public speaking event also featured performances in comedy, spoken word, and music.
