The comedian, via a Twitter post, shared his opinion about peer-to-peer support in the entertainment industry.

He stated that the amount of support people give is what should be reciprocated.

“Let everyone receive the same support they give out. If you don’t support so forget getting it back,” he wrote.

Sabinus’ tweet is coming a few hours after Omah Lay, the singer, said he does not get support from his “biggest inspirations.”

The songwriter added his “so-called mentors” aren’t promoting his music because they are scared.

“Dem no dey gree support me because them dey fear haha! even my so-called biggest inspirations all of them join,” he wrote in Pidgin English.

Omah Lay started in music at 15 and rose to prominence after the release of the singles ‘You’ and ‘Bad Influence’.

In 2021, he edged Tems, Oxlade, and Bella Shmurda to win the much-coveted ‘Next Rated’ award at The Headies.

In July 2022, Omah Lay revealed how he battled with depression while recording his debut album ‘Boy Alone’.

Sabinus, on the other hand, started comedy in 2015 but began to enjoy mainstream success in 2019.

He has featured in a number of Nollywood films, including the likes ‘Billionaire’s Bride’ and ‘Man of War’.

At the 2022 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), he was named “Best Online Content Creator”.

On newbies seeking the support of prominent entertainers, Sabinus spoke to TheCable in 2021 saying: “Even some top celebrities blocked me on Instagram because I asked for help. To an extent, I knew it was every man for himself.”
