Leke Adeboye, son of Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has slammed a pastor for preaching after his father’s closeout sermon.

It is understood that every first service of the month is designed as Thanksgiving Sunday.

RCCG pastors across the nation are expected to connect their parishes with the national headquarters where Adeboye usually delivers his sermon.

But after the cleric’s message last Sunday, some pastors were said to have delivered their own messages, which seemed to have provoked Leke.

“Why would you preach another sermon after Daddy GO has just finished preaching. You’re not a son. You’re a goat, sir. Next thanksgiving service, just do altar call, then thanksgiving,” Leke wrote in the now-deleted post.

Although the post was taken down, Leke’s comment has been generating heated criticism on his Instagram page.

Reacting, one Ikenna Odogwu said: “It’s becoming more obvious what these churches are all about.”

Another user, named Akideire, wrote: “I wonder at times if he’s truly a biological son of Daddy GO. He’s so vulgar.”

An enraged user who claimed to be a member of the church also disapproved of Leke’s values.

“I’m a Redeemer. But because your father is a pastor doesn’t give you the anointing to be one. Why will you call ordained ministers that preach after daddy GO preached goat?” the Instagram user asked in the comment section.

“Is that what Jesus preached? Have seen from your body size that you will be covetous, that’s why you pioneer things like the RCCG directorate of politics, business Sunday programs, and some leadership courses.

“You are nothing more than a selfish politician in disguise. Imagine reading prayers from a book.”
