Lege Miami, the actor, and VeryDarkMan (VDM) have engaged in a heated exchange following VDM’s criticism of Seyi, son President Bola Tinubu.

The controversy began when the social media critic, in an Instagram post, challenged Seyi’s political influence.

VDM called on the president’s son to address youth’s concerns, arguing that “people in government have dusty brains”.

“Seyi Tinubu, you’re the closest that the youths have ever been to power. You need to be very useful to us,” VDM said.

“Your father is old and the people around him their brains are dusty. There are cobwebs in their brains. There are a lot of potentials in Nigeria that aren’t being utilised because the old men in power cannot see.”

Lege responded with an 18-hour ultimatum for VDM to apologise for what he described as “disrespect towards the president and his son”.

“VeryDarkMan you shouldn’t have mentioned Seyi Tinubu’s name at all. You insulted my chairman and friend. I give you 18 hours to make a video apologizing,” Lege Miami said.

However, VDM fired back, dismissing the actor’s demand and calling him a “coward”.

“Seyi Tinubu deserves an apology of himself for associating with a fool and coward like Lege Miami,” he said.

Lege Miami fired back at VDM in another video, arguing that the social media critic is “looking for credit alert links”.

“Who are you that I would fear you? I blocked you because you don’t bring anything meaningful to social media,” Lege said.

“If you want to be a part of us, you will make an official video apologizing to Seyi Tinubu. I’ll keep tackling you if you fail to do that”.

In January, VeryDarkMan declared his support for Seyi ahead of the 2027 Lagos state governorship election.
