Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, and Justin Timberlake are among the entertainers billed to perform during US President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration festivities.
Biden will be inaugurated to take over from Donald Trump at noon ET on Wednesday, becoming the 46th president of the United States.
Most events surrounding the swearing-in are virtually focused due to the COVID-19 pandemic as well as security concerns that trailed the recent violence at the US Capitol.
The full line-up of entertainers to perform was released alongside that of prominent figures expected to appear at events leading up to or following after the inauguration.
Gaga is expected to precede the official swearing-in with a rendition of the US anthem at 11:30 am ET while Lopez will show up at the ceremony alongside Garth Brooks to contribute her performance.
Among the entertainers to follow is Miranda who will do a classical recitation, joining musicians like Bruce Springsteen, John Legend, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake and Bon Jovi.
There’s also a virtual ‘Parade Across America’ to be hosted by Tony Goldwyn with appearances by Jon Stewart, Earth Wind & Fire and the New Radicals among many others.
The proceedings will be aired on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC and PBS. All events are scheduled to be live-streamed on the Biden inauguration website.
