Stefani Germanotta, US singer better known as Lady Gaga, has announced a new release date for ‘Chromatica’, her sixth studio album.
In a post on her social media page on Wednesday, the US pop star said the much-awaited project earlier billed for April 10 will now be released on May 29.
“The journey continues. You can officially join me on #Chromatica on May 29,” she wrote on Twitter alongside a link where her followers can access it when it is finally out.

It is understood that the album’s release date was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic that has continued to ravage countries across the globe.
In the forthcoming project, Gaga teams up with some top music superstars including Ariana Grande, Elton John and Blackpink.
The highly-anticipated album also features ‘Stupid Love’, her hit-song, which was released in February this year.
‘Chromatica’ comes a few years after the award-winning singer released ‘Joanne’, her fifth studio album, on October 21, 2016.
In January, the 33-year-old song-writer had revealed that she was sexually assaulted when she was 19.
“I was raped repeatedly when I was 19 years old. I was afraid I was gonna die. I would say I lived that way for about five years. And I’d rather face that, those five years, because they made me who I am,” she had said.
